Subject-Matter Understanding

Built on decades of campaign and election experience.

Training is led by Dave Trotter, an English teacher with an MA in Political Science from McGill University and approximately 30 years of professional experience in politics before moving into full-time English teaching. He worked on campaigns and elections beginning in 1992, including campaigns in the United States and Canada and advisory work with campaigns in Europe. His experience has ranged from campaign management to messaging, with a primary professional and academic focus on voting behavior. He has also presented research at academic conferences and published peer-reviewed work on voting behavior.
