I’m a full-time, Cambridge University-certified English-language teacher from Chicago. I have been an online English-language coach since 2017, and have taught at numerous places around the world including Russia (Murmansk Language School). I mostly focus on students whose native language either come from a Slavic or Latin background. Prior to working as a language coach, I worked in both finance and politics, and can teach new students industry-specific vocabulary.

I moved to USA 1 year ago. I hadn't learned English with native teacher before my moving. I was surprised with his experience with Russian students before. It was good point for me. Classes with DaviŠ² improved my English a lot. Thanks to his extensive experience of working with Russian students, he understands well the difficulties of learning English for Russian-speaking students. For half a year of classes, I improved my level from B1 to B2. Also, on my recommendation, two of my colleagues also began to study with him.
Classes are held in a relaxed atmosphere, David loves to joke and laugh.

I've been studying with Dave for just under a year, and I can say that he is the best English teacher-mentor I've ever met. English with Dave is a clear structure, lots of lively communication and a comfortable pace of language learning. Dave has a rich professional background and a very good sense of humor - this makes our lessons and communication always interesting and topic-rich. Every lesson has a structure and all the notes are in a Google document, which is very convenient. You can go back to the notes in your spare time and work on mistakes or new material which was in the lessons. Grammar with Dave is not difficult. Explanations of rules are not complicated, and there are a lot of practical examples. And of course the human qualities of the teacher are very important. Dave is always attentive and the atmosphere in the class is friendly without stressful pauses like in normal lessons! Dave is one of my best discoveries of 2021.
